Resumen:
Thermal and energy performance evaluation of two wineries in the province of Mendoza, Argentina (32º40 SL, 68º5 WL, 750 m above sea level) is presented. The selected wineries have similar building size, equal amount and quality of production but different space distribution and envelope materiality. In situ air and surface temperature, relative humidity and solar radiation measurements were taken and were studied in relation with energy consumption registers. Proposals of environmental refurbishment for each case were simulated with Energy Plus software. The simulation of the refurbishment proposals resulted in matching mean measured temperatures without auxiliary energy involved.
