Por ello, proponemos un abordaje de la prensa local desde una perspectiva más sicológico social o sociológica que de historia del periodismo o de la literatura, etc. Nos interesa ver cómo, la lucha política imperante en las distintas fracciones de la élite, fue mediada por luchas de representaciones sociales y por qué la prensa fue el lugar privilegiado de exposición de estas argumentaciones. Summary: From the arrival of Railroad in 1885 to the Centenary of May in 1910, the analysis of the press from Mendoza, show that the press was a refection of the different speeches, opinions, conflicts, inequalities and values of the groups that interacted on the mendocino’s scenery and its different social practices. Therefore, we propose an approach of the local press in a more social psychological or sociological, rather than history of journalism or literature, etc. We are interested in seeing how the prevailing political struggle in the different fractions of the elite, was mediated by representations of social fights and why the press was the place for presentation of these arguments.
