Resumen:
Se-bearing precious metal minerals including Se-bearing acanthite Ag2S; Se-bearing polybasite [Ag9CuS4] [(AgCu)6(SbAs)2S7]; and naumannite Ag2Se were recently found at Don Sixto mining project, an epithermal low sulfidation deposit located in Mendoza province, Argentina. These Se-bearing minerals occur as small grains and blebs in the range of 5 to 100 µm, disseminated as isolated grains, irregular aggregates and/or as small rounded inclusions closely related to gold (mainly as electrum), silver and uytenbogaardtite (Ag3AuS2). Stützite and cervellite were also recognized.
