Resumen:
It is notable how statistical models/algorithms are being increasingly used in food science and technology (Riedl, Esslinger, & Fauhl-Hassek, 2015). The increasing need of analyzing large datasets has supported this trend for the last 20 years (Figure 13.1), along with the introduction of new software (and hardware) with adequate capacity of processing complex and high volumes of experimental results.
