Resumen:
Nitric oxide (NO) is a signal molecule that functions in concert with
auxin to regulate root developmental processes. One of the
mechanisms of NO action is through S-nitrosylation of Cys residues
in proteins. The thioredoxin-thioredoxin reductase (Trx-TrxR)
system denitrosylates Cys residues and contribute to the regulation
of S-nitrosylated proteins.
