A distorted wave model for electron ionization in collisions between clothed-ions and atomic targets

In the present work we extend the Continuum Distorted Wave -Eikonal Initial State (CDW-EIS) model to the case of dressed projectiles. Double differential spectra are analysed for single ionisation of He atoms in collisions with U21+ ions as a function of the final energy and angle of the emitted electron. Structures interpreted in terms of coherent interference of short- and long-range contributions of the perturbative potential are observed.
