Resumen:
While the climate community has carefully re-examined the tree-ring chronologies on the Northern Hemisphere looking at divergence issues in the records, there has not been a corresponding effort for Southern Hemisphere tree-ring chronologies. The causes of the divergence are not well understood and difficult to test because of the existence of several covarying environmental factors that may potentially impact recent tree growth.
