Resumen:
This review will focus on current advances in understanding teleost adaptive immune systems, with a particular emphasis on the current and potential biotechnological applications of immunological knowledge in aquaculture. Topics will include the use of Major Histocompatibility Complex Genes and Cytokines for monitoring immune status and the development of vaccines, as well as the application of immunological knowledge to improve broodstock and breeding practices.
