Resumen:
This work presents the results of a researchfocused on the mechanical behaviour of recycled steel fibres (RSFs) recoveredfrom waste tyres and, then, suitable to produce eco-friendly fibre-reinforcedconcrete (FRC). Firstly, the results of an experimental investigation aimed atunderstanding the tensile response of RSFs and their bond behaviour whenembedded in cementitious matrices are discussed. Then, the experimentalcampaign further considers Hybrid-FRC specimens made with both industrial andRSFs in different mixtures characterised by the same amount of fibres anddifferent relative proportions, which were tested in compression and four-pointbending.
