Resumen:
The physical and chemical properties of magnetic nanotubes are attractive for scientific and industrial community. Magnetic nanotubes have potentialapplications in different areas such as sensors of various types, rheology modifiers and optoelectronic among others. In this work we report the synthesis and characterization of cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) nanotubes obtained in a matrix of bacterial nanocellulose (BNC). This composite was obtained by coprecipitation of the precursor salts of cobalt ferrite inside a freeze-dried nanocellulose matrix. As characterization techniques Scanning Electron Microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Thermo Gravimetric Analysis and Magnetometry, were used.
