Pultrusion process is limited to straight sections of constant cross section profiles. Also, pultrusion is capable only of making straight products that have the same volume all along their lengths. Pulforming is an alternative similar to pultrusion in many ways, but can be fabricated either straight or curved product, with changing shapes and volumes. Both methods include material supply racks, an impregnation device followed by squeeze-out and forming bushings. However, it is quite different in physical form.
