The hidrotermal skarn is interpreted to be generated by fluids derived from  small stock  and dikes of Tonalita Butalon formation (pre Eocene age) overprinting a previous  metamorphic aureola. It’s a calcic Fe rich skarn with magnetite (10-15%), consists of garnet (Ad84-99 Gr0-12 Py1-4  - Ad76-46 Gr20-50 Py4) and clinopyroxene Di51-73  Hd25-44 Jo1-6). Fluid inclusions hosted in garnet indicate the presence of a moderate saline fluid and homogenization temperatures (Th L+V) trapped among 220º-320º.
