Resumen:
The characterization of the electronic and chemical structure of lithium-ion battery active materials is of great importance in order to be able to improve them.Inelastic X-ray scattering (IXS) is a technique that can provide information about electronic excitations. Unlike other X-ray conventional techniques, it can providebulk information without surface effect contaminations. In this poster, we present the results from measured IXS spectra for graphite, Stage I and Stage II, Lithiumintercalated graphite. Experimental data is compared with theoretical calculated data obtained by DFT using the Xspectra module of Quantum Espresso package.
