Resumen:
SIRIUS is the name of the new 3 GeV braziliansynchrotron light source aimed to be operatingin 2019. It will be located at the CNPEM(Brazilian Center for research in Energy andMaterials) campus nearby the LNLS machine, still in operation. This new synchrotron willhouse up to 40 experimental lines.Considering the high photon ux delivered froman undulator source in the medium energy x-ray range, There is an interest on improving theenergy resolution of the x-ray emission lines forseveral elements coming from the samples. Inparticular, the beamline CARNAUBA will allownano x-ray uorescence experiments. It is in theinterest of our experimental group to obtain aresolution of 10 eV, so we are contributingwith the design of an x-ray spectrometer basedon a specically curved crystal analyzer.
