Resumen:
We present high resolution LiH inelastic x-ray scattering (IXS) spectra, for various momentum transfer values, measured at the XDS LNLS beamline.For low momentum transfer, the Li K-edge x-ray Raman scattering (XRS) contribution was extracted from the whole excitation spectrum and the main features interpreted by means of ab initio simulations with the FEFF9 code. Core hole effects were found to be appreciable and dipole like transitions dominate the core electron contribution to the spectrum
