Resumen:
Our main interest is the development of unidimensional magneticnanostructures based on the Sm-Co system, with good hydrogen storage propertiesand efficient reaction mechanisms at room temperature. In this first stage wereport the synthesis procedures and the structural and magnetic properties of theresulting nanotube (NT) arrays. The nanotubes were DC electrodeposited into thecylindrical pores of a commercial alumina sieve - Fig. 1 (top), from a feedingsolution containing 10 at.% Sm in H3BO3  0,5 M. Electrodeposition potentials between-2,0 V and -3,0 V were explored.
