Resumen:
The calculation preented in this owrk aims to inquire if teh "dipole coupled pair-boson" interaction can act as an effective source of decoherence, able to bring an out-of-equilibrium system of weakly coupled pairs to a (diagonal) state of "internal" quasi-equilibrium, in a regime with no system-lattice energy exchange. The strategy is based on calculating the exact quantum dynamics of an initial state of the observed system to derive the adiabatic decoherence function. In order to confront with the experiment we estimate the characteristic times of the decoherence for a model solid.
