Resumen:
We prove that for axially symmetric linear perturbations of theextreme Kerr black hole there exists a positive definite and conservedenergy which control the norm of the solution. This provides a criteriafor linear stability in the sense that exponential growing modes cannot occur. In the particular case of Minkowski, this energy allows alsoto control pointwise the solution in a straightforward way.
