Regular Isolated Black Holes

We define a family of spacetimes representing isolatedblack holes exhibiting remarkable universal propertieswhich are natural generalizations from stationaryspacetime. They admit a well dened notion ofsurface gravity kH. This generalized surface gravitymediates an exponential relation between a regularnull coordinate w near the horizon and an asymptoticBondi null coordinate u dened in the vicinityof future null innity. Our construction provides aframework for the study of gravitational collapse ofan isolated system in its late stage of evolution.
