Resumen:
Grain growth (GG) processes in the presence of second-phase and stationaryparticles have been widely studied but the results found are inconsistent. We present new GG simulations in two- and three-dimensional (2D and 3D)polycrystalline samples with second phase stationary particles, using the MonteCarlo technique. Simulations using values of particle concentration greater than15% and particle radii different from 1 or 3 are performed, thus covering a rangeof particle radii and concentrations not previously studied. It is shown that onlythe results for 3D samples follow Zener?s law.
