Resumen:
We introduce the design, implementation and validation(measurement) of a two-element antenna array for fullduplexapplications. The antenna array is designed to provide alarge isolation between transmission and reception links whichis obtained by changing the polarization of the channels andby designing a suitable radiation pattern of the transmissionantennas. The design of the antenna array is developed usingthe characteristic S-parameters of the antenna elements. Isolationlevels larger than 55 dB are achieved without a degradation ofthe far-field transmission pattern. A complete set of simulationsand measurement results are presented where good performanceis obtained. That allows to conclude that the proposed antennadesign is a suitable candidate for full-duplex applications, i.e., FDaccess point, and/or FD sensing node for cognitive radio systems.
