Resumen:
In this paper, a suspension control system based on obtaining information from the road traveled by the vehicle is proposed. This data is obteined by a seven degrees of freedom mechanical model, that uses the measures of dynamics variables like the position of the chassis about each wheel and the accelerations of the compartment (suspended mass). With the information obtained from the ground, acceleration references can be determined to design control strategies for improving the comfort and the experience of handling inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The motivation of this study lies in finding methods of control to maximize the comfort and stability of the vehicle through the suppression of vibrations.
