Resumen:
In this paper we evaluate the performance of an OFDM relay system considering amplify-and-forward and decode-and-forward configurations affected by I/Q imbalances at the relay unit. The performance results motivates the implementation of I/Q imbalance compensation technique at the destination side by means of least squares (LS) algorithm. Simulation results verify the good performance of the proposed compensation technique reaching BER levels similar than ideal relays.
