Resumen:
The objectives of this field trip are:* To visit well studied localities representative of the Cambro-Ordovician platform carbonates.* To document, reef types and fossil concentrations in a nearly continuous succession spanning from the UpperCambrian to the Middle Ordovician.* East to west transect across Middle and Upper Ordovician siliciclastics (eastern to western tectofacies) andSilurian-Devonian outcrops of the Precordillera, from Jáchal city to Rodeo locality, following Jáchal river.* To visit classical localities of Silurian and Devonian siliciclasctic sections;* To visit the typical Late Carboniferous glaciomarine deposits and the Early Permian marine successions of theArgentine Precordillera.
