Resumen:
We study the relative fraction of low surface brightness galaxies
(LSBGs) in groups at void walls in the SDSS DR7. This analysis allows to
exam- ine the behavior of the abundance of these galaxies at a fixed
local density but distinguishes the large-scale environment defined by
the void geome- try. We find a significant decrement by a factor 4 of
the relative fraction of blue LSBGs in groups of a given mass range at
the wall edges, that is within a void centric distance around the void
radius. This decrement is consistent with an increase of the fraction of
blue high surface brightness galaxies (HSBGs). By contrast, red LSBGs
and HSBGs have negligible changes. We argue that these results are
consistent with a scenario where blue LSBGS at the void walls are fueled
by gas from the expanding void regions and by efficiently forming new
stars, may undergo LSB onto HSB transformations.
