Resumen:
The IATE (Universidad Nacional de Còrdoba y CONICET) group, Cordoba Argentina and the Center for Gravitational Wave Astronomy of the University of Texas at Brownsville are developing an astronomical site at the Macon Ridge, Tolar Grande in the Salta Province, NW of Argentina in order to build up a dedicated Transients Observatory. We describe the site characteristics and the current facilities developments. Our multimessenger astronomy project is aimed to detect the optical counterparts of the aLIGO Gravitational Waves sources and follow up other sources detected by facilities like DES, LSST, SKA etc.
