Resumen:
At the First Academic Meeting of ICAZ Neotropical Zooarchaeology Working Group (Santiago de Chile, June 2012), a proposal was issued that the Working Group implements an open-access database of osteometric measurements on South American camelids that can in turn be properly cited, considering that most publications do not allow for raw data such as these to be fully detailed for extent restrictions. This database allows access to osteometric data that at present are informally circulating or that are scattered in a range of different publications, and even some that would be published for the first time here. It will include not only modern specimens, but also archaeological and palaeontological ones.
