Resumen:
Soybean seed coat peroxidase (SBP) was immobilized on chemically synthesized polymers, based on polyaniline (PANI). The polymers were activated with glutaraldehyde and screened for optimum immobilization capacity. The predominantly reduced polymer (PANIG2) showed the best performance. Optimum pH for immobilization was 6.0 and the maximum retention was achieved after 6-h reaction. Efficiency of retention for native activity was determined to be 82 % and a reuse assay showed that the immobilized enzyme retained its activity for more than 15 weeks. The SBP-derivatized polymer will be used for depuration of phenolic solutions. Optimum pH for immobilization was 6.0 and the maximum retention was achieved after 6-h reaction.
