Resumen:
One hundred and forty two young, frequent web user students completed a self-report Internet skills and experience questionnaire; sixty six also completed two verbal working memory tasks in a controlled setting, and then read and answered literal and inferential questions about two digital texts in an e-learning platform at home. Self-reported Internet skills were associated with the number of online activities. Performance was poorer for low working memory participants with higher self-reported Internet abilities reading more difficult texts.
