Resumen:
This study examined the comprehension of instructions as a function of modality of presentation(verbal, pictorial, multimedia) during an assembly task. Sixty-three participants were asked tounderstand and execute instructions on assembling LEGO objects, while performing a secondaryverbal or spatial concurrent task. Results indicated faster times for processing instructions inpictorial and multimedia instructions, but fewer errors in the multimedia condition. Overall,instructions were particularly facilitated in the multimedia presentation.
