Characterization of metallic electrodes electrodeposited layers of Iridium oxide it is presented. The electrochemical parameters of the electrode-electrolyte impedance (EEI) are obtained by impedance spectroscopy.Meyer´s protocol was modified by increasing the number of pulses of the cycled potential, in order to obtain better adhesion and stability of the EIROF layer in time. Redox processes in the modified electrodes and its influence in the decreasing of EEI were studied. The EEI was reduced in two magnitude orders, the EIROF layers obtained were easily reproduced and they were stables at least 21 days.
