Background:Blood-brain barrier activation is a common feature of human neurobrucellosis,but the underlying mechanisms are largely unknown. Aim: To investigate theinfluence of B. abortus (B.a.)-activated platelets (PTL) on human brainmicrovascular endothelial cells (HBMEC).
