Resumen:
Calcium-activated potassium currents werestudied in dissociated smooth muscle cells from humansaphenous vein (HSV) using the patch-clamp techniquein the whole-cell configuration. The average measuredresting membrane potential (Vm) was ?41±2 mV (n=39),when the cells were dialysed with an intracellular pipettesolution (IPS) containing 0.1 mM ethyleneglycolbis(b-aminoethylether)-N,N,N¢,N¢-tetraacetic acid (EGTA)(IPS-0.1 mM EGTA).
