Resumen:
Wet deposition describes the scavenging of chemical species from the atmosphere to the Earth´s surface by atmospheric hydrometeors (cloud and fog drops, rain, snow). The goal of this research was to quantify the deposition of inorganic elements in the soluble fraction in rainwater and the scavenging of insoluble aerosols by rain. Time evolution of concentrations of S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Rb, Sr, and Pb were studied. The chemical elements acting as cloud condensation nuclei were inferred as well.
