The experimental evidence relative to charge transfer during collisionsb etweeni ce particlesm ay be consistent with more than one mechanism. In particular, there are a few well-known mechanisms, such as contact potentials, liquidlike layer mechanism, charged dislocations, the recently revived inductive mechanism, and our own fracture mechanism.with more than one mechanism.
