Resumen:
Particle tracing is a visualization technique that gives to theobserver the simultaneous perception of direction and velocityof the flow. An efficient algorithm is presented allowing thecomputation of particle trajectories for unsteady flows in movingmeshes, including also the computation of skin-frictionparticles, i.e. particles bound to the body skin. Visualizationwith the OpenDX package, as well as the parallel implementationin SMP architectures is also described. Discussion ofvisualization parameters, as particle density, and frame rate inorder to avoid coherence effect is discussed.
