Resumen:
Convection heat transfer is associated to dynamic flows, which are studied in multiple applications of scientific and industrial interest. Such phenomenon present a wide diversity of scales, that configures an important restriction for their computational simulation, restricting their implementation almost exclusively to parallel execution. At the moment, this process is implemented in personal computers with distributed treatment. The clusters of INTEL x86 processors, that operate under GNU operating system/ Linux Operative System (Beowulf clusters), are group of personal computers which acting on the whole and interconnected through high-speed devices, could solve important problems. The Finite Element software PETSc-FEM (Parallel Extensible Toolkit for Scientific Computations Finite Element Method), is executed in Beowulf clusters with Computational Flow Dynamics oriented architecture.  This software, which was developed in the International Center for Computational Methods in Engineering, is writing in C++ under an Object Oriented Programming philosophy. It is based on Parallel Expandable Toolkit for Scientific Computations/ Message Passing Interface (PETSc/MPI) libraries. In this work, its satisfactory validation in heat convection process from the analysis of the results reached with numeric rehearsals in a bidimentional cavity is exposed.
