Aspectos biogeográficos de la entomofauna argentina

In this contribution a brief summary of previous conrtibution to the insect biogeography of Argentina is give. Besides that the entomological fauna of Argentina belongs to two main biotas, the neotropical and patagonian, others elements are recognized, such as: Pangaeic (eremic and mesofilo), Gondwanic (older gondwanic, from the peripmapasic arc, patagonian, neotropical, and authoctonous); and finally holartic  and  sinantropic.  This elements now conforms differents components: altoandean, extraandean mountains, patagonian steppe, subantartic forests, monte,  prepuna, chaquean, pampean, yungas and rain forest of Misiones.
