Resumen:
Structure of the seismosensory system in
Oncopterus darwinii
is studied. Specific traits are
revealed, along with the general similarity with previously investigated representatives of the order Pleuronectiformes.
Presence of some plesiomorphic features characterizes the structure of the seismosensory system of
O. darwinii
as the generalized one.
