Hock temperaments test and preference reading test of the University of Veracruz were used. In this population sample the prevalence of women with phlegmatic temperament was present. When a comparison was made between the scores of the various temperaments in proof reading preferences, statistically significant differences were observed. Individuals with choleric temperament had no specific distinctive differences with others, but with the melancholic and phlegmatic groups departed from the sanguine.
