Resumen:
Vitamin D insufficiency has been associated with decreased
muscle function and strength, and an increase in the risk of falls.
The effects of vitamin D on bone health are well documented.
However, the role of vitamin D in muscle function remains
unclear. The aim of this work was to evaluate the effect of
vitamin D nutritional status on muscle function in a group of
women aged N65 years.N65 years.
Conclusion: Levels of 25OHDN20 ng/ml seem to optimize
lower limb muscle function.N20 ng/ml seem to optimize
lower limb muscle function.
