Resumen:
Objective: The purpose of this report is to present the CT features of acute muscle lesions of Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (F.0.P). Materials and Methods: A case of F.O.P was evaluated at our institution in December 1999. The patient was a 23 -year-old-woman,. Conclusion; it would be important for the radiologist to be aware of typical lesions of F .0.P, not only for making an carlier diagnosis saving the patient from exposure to trauma known to aggravate the condition, but also not to mistake the acutc myositis lesion for clinically similar entities such as a sarcoma, bruises, infection mumps, and occasionally Rheumatic fever.
