Resumen:
Sunflower seeds are a good substrate for aflatoxin production. Lipids may play and important role in the biosynthesis of aflatoxin. The aim of this work was to evaluate the effect of the lipid fraction of sunflower seeds on toxin production . It ws found that the saponified fraction and particularly unsaturated fatty acids stimulated aflatoxin production.
