Resumen:
The basin is loca!ed in the soUlhwestern Buenos Aires province. The Las Encadenad: ls basin is located in temperate climates with an annual average temperature of I S.2°C. The aim of this paper is to study the variabil ity of precipitation and determine the influence of bodies in the lagoon itself. The isohietas map was produced, with data from different seasons. We calculated the anomalies of precipitation and temperature and the lagoons surfaces in di lTerent years. The average rainfall in the basin is 730mm. Historical analysis of precipitation defme two periods a dry 1920- 1970 and another 1970 to the present wet. As plain ponds, we can say that they are highly dependent on rainfall presents high reduction of area under water to overflow cond itions involving the flooding of areas adjacent to them.
