Resumen:
Our group develops and implements methods to treat the description of electron dynamics out ofequilibrium in large systems (up to thousands of atoms). Using Time Dependent Density Functional TightBinding techniques and the computational power of modern graphical processing units (GPU) we areable to describe the time evolution of the electronic density matrix under the influence of external time varyingelectromagnetic fields within or outside the linear response regime. In this talk I will I will focus onpresenting results on atomistic simulations of energy transfer in photosynthetic antenna complexes aswell as photo-induced charge transfer processes in dye semiconductor nanoparticle complexes, dyedoped perylene diimide molecular arrangements and silver-DNA aggregates.
