Resumen:
The motivation of the paper arises from new experiences on technological clusters developments from firm-university networks, in Argentina, with different institutional models and different outcomes . The central objective is to discuss the opportunities and challenges for technological cluster development, analyzing tensions between local and national technology policies.Two main questions organized this paper: 1) which are the different types of proximities besides de geographical one needed to foster the emergence of technological business clusters? and 2) Is there an articulation/coordination between local and national technology policies?
