Resumen:
IR, Raman and UV spectra of CF,C(O)I have been obtained and assigned to the expected vibrational normal modes of the molecule and electronic transitions in the C-0 group. Internal force constants were calculated from vibrational data. The results agree with data reported for other CF,C(O)X compounds.
