Resumen:
The Christianisation of Europe was a long-term process which was developed by means of differentstrategies. One of these was missionary activity. In Bohemia, the Christianisation is contemporary of theformation of the regnum, as in other parts of Central Europe such as Poland and Hungary. Among others, missionary bishops (or bishops and missionaries) spread the Word, the Christian faith and worked inorder to incorporate the people of Bohemia into Christianity. Nonetheless, its impact was uneven duringthe beginning of the process, when the flock reacted reluctantly. The wide range of reactions revealedinclude manifestations from violence to mockery. The focus here is set on the last one.
