Resumen:
Abstract. This paper presents new orbital parameters of the eclipsingsymbiotic binary BX Mon calculated on the basis of spectroscopic data obtained during 1997-2008. An orbital period of P = 1290 days and a mass ratio of q =4.4 are estimated and the presence of a white dwarf as a hot component is confirmed. The variations of the intensities of some emission lines with the orbital phases are also analized.
