Resumen:
In this work we show compelling numerical evidence that chaotic mixing processes are undoubtedlyactive, however, they might not have enough sources to erase the necessary dynamical information to identifystellar streams from the local halo that would be crucial to rebuild the formation history of our galaxy. Therefore, the lack of observations of such streams in the neighborhood of the Sun seems to be given, at first order, to thelack of precision in the measurements and not to the effect of chaos. We discuss these results under the light ofthe most recent papers using GAIA.
